The Sun depicts a naked child happily seated on a calm horse with no saddle or reins, indicating direction by will alone along with perfect balance and harmony, implying the joy of being connected with one’s inner spirit. He appears full of joy and energy, and his nakedness implies innocence, purity, simplicity, and the ability to be reborn anew. The child carries a banner, signifying celebration and victory. A large, anthropomorphized sun shines above a stone wall with four sunflowers growing above it, representing the four suits of the Major Arcana and the four elements.
